You always hope to get through an overseas trip without having to access the services of a medical professional. But things don’t always go as one would hope.
A couple of weeks ago, in the middle of a delicious lunch, Greg’s front tooth — an existing crown — popped out. We were in the mountains at the time, quite a long way from home, and two days away from almost every business in the country closing down for the annual, two-week summer holiday.
So, working against the clock, and with only very patchy phone reception, the race to find a dentist was on.

Poor Papa! At least he had 24 hrs with a ready made Aperol-sipping Straw space! Glad to see that glorious smile back, though 😃

We did, Jen, but Giovanni is in Rome and that was a bit far to go this time! But we will catch up with him in couple of weeks. 😊 Hope you both are great and happy (slightly belated) birthday to Ray! 🥰
