In our travels we’ve come across only two or three places we could imagine ourselves living in; Bergen, on Norway’s west coast, is one of them.
It’s a relatively small city, located beside a fjord, totally charming and filled with happy Norwegians. Of course, if you’re not earning kroner, the cost of living precludes actually living here. But apart from that, what’s not to love about beautiful Bergen?

What a charming city and a surprise to see no snow there.

Ah, beautiful Bergen!! Those gorgeous photos bring back some pretty gorgeous memories of being there with you, Mama! So glad you two loved it as much this time around!! ❤❤

Bergen in sunshine? Blue sky? With 240 days of rain Bergen belongs to the top rain spots in Europe. But obviously you have a good influence!
I’m back home after 3 wonderful and sunny weeks in Merano. Here, everything is grey and wet. I installed a new background picture on my laptop display showing snowy mountains. Sort of first-aid kit 😉
I’ll be following you around!
Enjoy – Jutta

Haha! Thanks, Jutta! We hadn’t seen sunshine for a while so it was very welcome! We’re really enjoying Pascha and the scrapes and cases he gets poor Martin involved in, too. Such wonderful characters! Thanks for creating them! 👏😀😀

Thank you for reading and for your kind words. I really like both of them – and couldn’t stand any one of them around in real life 😉

Haha! I can see your point though we love them anyway 🙂
