Many of you know the beautiful family in this photograph. You’ll remember Benedetta, Anna and Enrico from our wedding in Montegridolfo a few years ago.

Greg and I were so delighted to catch up with these lovely friends in Milan last weekend; it’s been two years since we were together, so there was plenty of news to share.

And though the day was extraordinarily hot and the restaurant kitchen running slow, we had a great lunch.

It’s not hard to find or prepare good food — especially here it Italy — but doesn’t it make all the difference when a meal is shared with people you love?
