We slipped away for a short trip to Rome to catch up with friends there, and also because…well, Rome.

What a city the Italian capital is! Over time, we’ve been fortunate enough to have lived in Rome for several months and, despite the crowds and chaos, the tourists and touts, we love it.

It would take a lifetime to truly know Rome but, whenever we’re there, we try to discover something new. On this visit, it was singing nuns.
